"We are committed and very happy," said Vujacic to journalists. "This is good and now we can concentrate on other things."
Vujacic, who returned to competition after suffering a concussion, said he made a marriage proposal on the first anniversary of that first met at a friend's party. "It was probably the old way," said Vujacic, 26. "I had to do as a gentleman."
However, the Lakers guard said he would not have set a wedding date. Vujacic returned to competition a week after suffering a concussion when his teammate, forward Lamar Odom hit him accidentally with his elbow in the face during training. Vujacic was averaging 2.8 points and 1.2 rebounds in 67 games last season, his sixth with the Lakers.
